Our seaweed farmers have been hand-harvesting seaweed from the coastal waters of Ireland for generations. Seaweed is truly a superfood, naturally rich in iodine, which is important for healthy glands, and is an excellent source of Omega-3, including DHA, which is essential for brain development.

Feeding Guidelines

As with humans, every cat is different and has unique dietary needs depending on their metabolism and activity level. Please use the amount below as a guideline and adjust the portion size to suit your cat. If you feel your cat is losing or gaining weight, most cats prefer to have their daily food intake split into two meals. Gradually introduce McAdams by replacing 20% of the previous food with McAdams and slowly increase it over one week until you reach 100%. Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.

To keep McAdams in the best condition, store it in a sealed container in a dry and cool place after opening.

When weaning, kittens may require food softened with a little water. Please note: When your kitten reaches around 7-8 months of age, their calorie requirements will decrease, which is reflected in the reduced feeding amounts in the guideline.
